PFAS Water Sampling
For each site, we are collecting two 250 mL bottles (high density polyethylene, HDPE) and one 50 mL falcon tube (polypropylene). At the site, use the provided grabber to hold the bottle/tube and rinse out the bottle/tube with the lid off at least three times with the surface water. Then, fill up the bottle/tube 90% full and cap. On the cap (using super permanent sharpie provided), write down your initials, date, and unique sample number in permanent sharpie (take any notes as necessary). For field blanks, pour the PFAS-free water into the empty blank water bottle (labeled water blank), cap and treat like rest of samples.
